IT WAS AWESOME!

It was round four of the FIA World Rallycross Championship at Lydden Hill (That’s in Great Britain).

There was lots of action over the weekend thanks to three different rallycross classes competing, as well as a drift demonstration, stunt performance from Terry Grant, and some Group B demo runs.

I did take some photos, and have enclosed some of my favourites below

How good is Lydden hill too. I mean its a total dump but what an awesome place to watch racing from. I was torn between Rallycross and FIA Masters, and the masters won out, but this looks pretty damn epic too.

I wouldn’t say that it is a total dump. It’s a small, rural motorsports venue, and has facilities to match.

Yeah, it is great to spectate at though, pretty good views from almost anywhere around the perimeter of the circuit.

Fair, I guess I am a bit spoilt by what most venues offer. Personally I really like Lydden, reminds me of what Snetterton was like when Ifirst went there as like an 8 year old.

I did go for the British Drift championship too, so the teams there weren’t quite as big as the WRX teams, so slightly messier paddock too.

Still, awesome venue.
